Two kids from Odisha to get National Bravery Award

ONI Bureau: Two kids from Odisha to receive the Indian Council for Child Welfare’s National Bravery Award for saving lives.

One Mamata Dalai (7) and Pankaj Mahanta (15) will receive this award from Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on January 24.

While the brave girl Mamata rescued her elder sister Ashanti from a crocodile near a pond in Dangamala village in Kendrapara district on the month of April last year.

Meantime, Pankaj Mohanta from Keonjhar district rescued and saved lives of three women from drowning in Baitarini river on the month of May last year.
