Upendranath College Lab Assistant dies during clash between Student groups

A Laboratory Assistant named Ratikanta Behera of Upendranath College at Soro of Balasore district died of cardiac arrest on Wednesday, while trying to resolve clash between two student groups .

The College Principal Bijay Mohapatra was also injured in the incident and admitted at Soro hospital in a critical condition.

It is to be noted that, the clash between the students broke out on Tuesday after which college administration had planned to set up a disciplinary committee to resolve the issue today.

Sadly, the Higher Education Minister Pradeep Panigrahi said that he has no information regarding the incident.
