Utkal Varsivy students torch Ambulance protesting RD University’s 2nd Campus

ONI Bureau:  Protesting over the Government’s decision to set up second campus of RD Women’s University at Utkal Varsity premises, irate students of Utkal University on Friday set afire an ambulance which was parked in front of the vice-chancellor’s office of the University in Vani Vihar.

Tensions erupted into large-scale today in Vani Vihar as the Govt failed to withdraw the said decision after three days of protest by the Vani Vihar students.

Reportedly, all on-going university-examinations were cancelled and classes have been suspended due to the violence in Vani Vihar.
