VIMSAR, Burla Medicos call off Strike, resume Work

Bhubaneswar, Oct 28: The Post-Graduate students, house surgeons of  Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR), Burla have called off their stir  on Wednesday.

They were stir since October 24 following ransacking at casualty ward and attack on doctors by some persons over death of a patient. After getting assurance from Superintendent of Police (SP) Akhileswar Singh, the students ended their strike and returned to work.

In this case, police arrested four persons but the main accuse is said to be still at large. However, as per the reports, the SP has assured the students to arrest the main accuse and provide security to the doctors.
