White Tigress Gives Birth to 3 Cubs at Nandankanan Zoo

White tigress Bijaya gave birth to three cubs at Nandankanan Zoological Park here on Sunday.

According to the authorities of the Nandankanan Zoo, tigress Bijaya delivered the cubs at 10.58 AM, 1 PM and 1.35 PM.

This is the third time that the tigress delivered cubs at Nandankanan zoo. The white tigress had given birth to two each cubs earlier on August 20, 2016 and September 17, 2017.

As of now, both the mother and baby tigers are doing well, the Deputy Director informed adding that the number of tigers at Nandankanan Zoo rose to 28 with the delivery of three cubs.
