Wi-Fi Services @30 Mins Free launched in Puri, OdishaUnion Minister for Information Technology and Communications Ravi Shankar Prasad on Thursday launched the Wi-Fi service of BSNL in the holy city of Puri in Odisha, just a week before the Nabakalebara Rath Yatra, 2015.

The Wi-Fi service would be initially available between Jagannath Temple and Mausi Maa Temple of the city.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Odisha Energy Minister Pranab Prakash Das, Puri MP Pinaki Mishra and MLA Maheswar Mohanty, BJP state unit chief KV Singhdeo and other BJP functionaries were present on the occasion.

While addressing the gathering, Mr. Prasad said the importance of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream project- “Digital India” and appealed all the stake holders to cooperate in this regard. He also emphasized to promote the girl child using digital technology.

Earlier in the morning, the Union Minister has laid the foundation stone for the Baramunda post office building in the capital city of Bhubaneswar.
