Will uphold Pride of Odisha: Dharmendra Pradhan

ONI Bureau:  After being re-elected to the Rajya Sabha, Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was warmly welcomed by thousands of party activists on Friday.

Thousands of Odisha BJP activists gathered at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar to welcome Pradhan on his arrival.

While addressing the BJP karyakartas at BJP Office in Bhubaneswar Dharmendra said, by giving recognition to Paika rebellion as the “First War of Independence, Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government has paid a great tributes to the heroes of Odisha.

Again, PM Modi has honoured citizens of Odisha by sending him to Rajya Sabha for the second time and he will uphold the pride of Odisha, said Dharmendra Pradhan.

Pradhan also stated that though Congress votes got diverted towards the BJD, BJP got good response in Bijepur by-poll as the saffron party were at the third position during the 2014 general elections while secured the second position this time.
