Winter Session of Odisha Assembly To Start Before December 31

The winter session of the Odisha Assembly is likely to start before December 31, Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro confirmed on Wednesday.

The Assembly sits for a minimum of 60 days in one year. But the Odisha Assembly was held only for 20 days in the third and fourth session. So, a calendar of 40 days will be added after the approval from the Governor.

The remaining 40 days will be completed before December 31, Patro said.
