Within 24 Hours Police Rescue Abducted Contractor And His Aide

Within 24 hours of an occurrence of a kidnap case late last night, police in its swift action, rescued a contractor and his aide from the clutches of abductors in Aska area of Ganjam district.
The rescued victims have been identified as Prasanna Gouda and Kalu Jena of the same area.
According to sources from police, while Prasanna and Kalu were returning from work last evening, a group of four miscreants intervened at Alipur and forcibly took them to an unknown place.
On not having returned, family members of the victims lodged a case at Aska Police Station the same evening.

While the reason behind the abduction is yet to be ascertained, police swiftly acted to locate them and rescued them from Putibadi-Pathara road. The investigation to nab the miscreants is underway.
