Woman buries newborn boy after delivery in Mayurbhanj Dist

ONI Bureau: In a shocking and inhuman incident, a woman buried her newborn son soon after delivery at Dhipasahi under Sarat police limits of Mayurbhanj district on Wednesday.

According to reports, Masuri Singh of the village gave birth to a baby boy on her parent’s house when she has gone to attend nature’s call in the wee hours of Wednesday. Unable to find a way to carry the newborn to house, she has buried the baby in cow dung pit.

Hindu Singh, Masuri’s husband who works in Kerala, returned home on June 21. He had gone to bring her to his house on Thursday and came to know about the incident from locals later on.
