On Women’s Day, Odisha CM launches ‘181’ Helpline for Women in Distress

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today launched ‘181’ Helpline number for women in distress.

This is the toll free helpline which will be available 24/7 in all the 30 districts across the state and will extend immediate response to women affected by any types of violence.

Speaking on the state-level Women’s Day celebration at Jaydev Bhawan, Patnaik said everyone should take a pledge to work together for ensuring empowerment of women.
