World Bank Team to review various Projects in Odisha

The World Bank team will meet Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi on Wednesday. They arrived in Odisha on Tuesday to review cyclone risk mitigation project and the energy-efficient street lighting project.

According to sources, the team will visit various places in the state including Gopalpur and Chilika.

Notably, the World Bank had provided funds for development works in the cyclone affected areas after the cyclone Phailin in 2013.

The Housing and Urban Development Department Special Secretary SK Rath said the World Bank team members are happy over the street lighting project.
