Young Soccer Chandan Nayak leaves for Germany today

The promising 11-year old football player from Odisha, Chandan Nayak left for Germany today morning to get training at “Bayern Munich”, the iconic football club in Germany.

Chandan stays at Sabar Sahi Slum in the capital city of Bhubaneswar. His coach Jayadev Mohapatra, his teammates and family members visited Biju Patnaik Airport to see him off and wished for his Germany trip.

Mohapatra said, the visa of Chandan was possible with the intervention of Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
