Youth Congress Workers clash with Cops in Bhubaneswar

ONI Bureau: The Youth Congress workers led by PCC President Prasad Harichandan and former MP Pradeep Majhi clashed with the cops near Sishu Bhavan square while attempting to gherao Naveen Niwas on the issue of Kunduli tragedy.

When the cops confronted the Congress workers, they tried to break the barricade. Shouting slogans against the Government and CM Naveen Patnaik, the Congress workers hurled eggs at the police.

Over 25 Congress workers were taken into custody by the cops. The Youth Congress has been demanding justice to Kunduli victim, who was allegedly gangraped and the committed suicide a few months later after failing to get justice.
