BJD Demands Passage of Women’s Reservation Bill During All-Party Meeting

The Biju Janata Dal, BJD, demanded passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill in this Budget session. On behalf of BJD, Lok Sabha MP Pinaki Misra made the request in the all-party meeting.

BJD had reserved one-third seats for women in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Both BJP and Congress had publicly backed this Women’s Reservation Bill along with a number of political parties.
