Provide Smart Phones, Radio to BPL Students: Odisha Samajwadi Party

The Odisha chapter of the Samajwadi Party (SP) has urged Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to provide radio and smart phones to students belonging to BPL category.

In a letter written to CM Patnaik, Odisha SP president Rabindra Behera requested him to take necessary steps.

“Many schools and colleges are conducting online classes but many students are deprived of smart phones. Keeping this in view, provide smart phones to the students,” the letter read.

Stating that the School and Mass Education department has planned to start ‘Radio Pathasala’ initiative from Septmber 28 for school students, he requested the CM to also provide radio sets to them..
