Viral Video: “Naveen condoles Alive Parala King’s Demise”

ONI Bureau: An old video posted by BJP leader Dr.Lekhasri Samantsinghar, shows CM Naveen Patnaik condoling the demise of Paralakhemundi Maharaja Gopinath Gajapati Narayan Deo while he is alive, has gone viral on social media.

Lekhasri probably posted the old video of 2016 when there was a rumour on Parala Maharaja’s death while he was undergoing treatment for several ailments. While Naveen gave the bytes to media, it was later withdrawn and the news was buried after the goof-up was realised.

However, the BJP leader got the video from any source and posted on his Facebook page, making it viral. BJD sought to downplay the incident, saying the bytes were given on the basis of information received through media, which later turned to be incorrect. The party accused BJP of using dirty tricks to malign the Odisha CM.
