Ashwin’s 6/41 helps India to beat Australia by 75 runs in Bengaluru Test

INDvsAUSIndia beat Australia by 75 runs in the second Test, leveled Series 1-1 after home off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin took 6-41 on the fourth day at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Tuesday.

Australia restricted India to 189 in first innings and 274 in second innings and need 188 runs to win the game but they were all out for 112 runs.

The third Test will be held in Ranchi on March 16.

India scored 189 (Rahul 90; Nathan Lyon 8/50) & 274 (Rahul 51, Pujara 92, Rahane 52; Hazlewood 6/67, Starc 2/74, O’Keefe 2/36).

While, Australia manage to score 276 (Warner 33, Renshaw 60, Marsh 66, Wade 40; Jadeja 6/63, Ashwin 2/84) in first innings & 112 (Smith 28, Handscomb 24; Ashwin 6/41, Umesh 2/30) in second innings.
