Asian Champions Trophy Hockey: India, Pakistan declared Joint Winners

ONI Bureau: The Asian Champions Trophy Hockey 2018 in Muscat ended on a disappointing note, as heavy rains played the spoilsport. The Final was abandoned due to rain, as both India and Pakistan were declared Joint Winners.

The officials declared the court as unplayable due to the collected rainwater after heavy downpour delayed the final for hours.

Earlier, Malaysia defeated Japan in the shootout to claim 3rd place in the tournament. India, the only unbeaten team in the tournament, would be disappointed to share the trophy with their arch-rival Pakistan who they beat in the league stage.
