Australia finish Day 3 at 236/6 in reply to India’s 622/7

ONI Bureau:   Poor visibility owing to bad light and subsequent rains forced the umpires to stop the day three of the fourth Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Saturday.

Finally it was decided to end today’s match in 16.3 overs ahead of schedule. The match will start 30 minutes early on Sunday.

Australia were at 236/6 in their first innings in reply to India’s mammoth score of 622/7.

For Australia, Marcus Harris scored 79, while Labuschange made 38. Khawaja contributed 27. Handscomb and Pat Cummins are batting on 28 and 25 respectively.

Scores: India 622/7 in 167.2 overs; Australia 1st innings: 236/6 in 83.3 overs.
