Bangladesh stun South Africa in 2nd ODI, level Series 1-1

Soumya-SarkarAfter beating Zimbabwe 5-0, Pakistan 3-0 and India 2-1, Bangladesh defeated mighty South Africa in the second ODI to level series 1-1 with one match to go. They have now sealed a berth in next year’s ICC Champions Trophy.

Mustafizur Rahman, who stunned India in his debut series, was the star of the match, as he took three top order wickets to help the team bowl South Africa out for 162. Bangladesh won by 7 wickets. Soumya Sarkar was declared ‘Man of the Match’ for his 88*.

Scores: South Africa 162 in 46 overs (Faf du Plessis 41, Behardien 36; Mustafizur 3/38, Rubel Hossain 2/34, Nasir Hossain 3/26).
