Bombayla Devi, Deepika Kumari reach Pre-Quarters in Archery

Bombayla Devi and Deepika Kumari are the bright spots for India at the Rio Olympics as they advanced into the 1/8 Eliminations round of the women’s individual archery competion.

Bombayla beat Taipei’s Shih-Chia Lin and Deepika defeated the higher ranked Kristine Esebua of Georgia and entered into the pre-quarters of the individual event early on Thursday morning.
