Deepa Malik becomes first Indian Woman to win Medal at Paralympics

deepa-athleteDeepa Malik has created history by winning silver medal in Women’s Shot put at Rio Paralympics 2016 on Monday.

It is the first Medal by an Indian Woman in Paralympics games. It is India’s 3rd medal in the ongoing games at Rio.

Before taking up athletics, Deepa was into motor sports and driving cars. She has gained the Arjuna award in 2012.
