Dharamsala ODI: India bowl out for 112 vs Sri Lanka

ONI Bureau: Team India produced shameful batting display in the first ODI against Sri Lanka in Dharamsala. MS Dhoni was the only saving grace for the team as he scored a fifty to help India go past 100. It can be noted that Virat Kohli is not playing in ODI and T20 series due to personal commitments.

Earlier, Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to field first on a wicket that suited the bowlers in cold weather conditions. India slumped to 16/5 at one stage and then to 29/7.

Dhoni’s 65 and Kuldeep Yadav’s 19 helped the team to score 112 in 38.2 overs. Suranga Lakmal took four wickets for Sri Lanka. Nuwan Pradeep took two wickets. Sri Lanka now need just 113 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
