Fatullah Test heading for Tame Draw, Bangladesh 111/3 on Day 4

India-BangladeshAfter India declared at the overnight score of 462/6, rain came to the rescue of Bangladesh and washed out most part of the game on Day 4. When rains stopped play, Bangladesh were 111/3. There is little doubt that the match is heading towards a tame draw.

Opener Imrul Kayes was batting on 59, while Monimul Haque scored 30. For India, R Ashwin took two wickets, while ace off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who made a comeback to the team after a gap of two years, took one wicket.

Rain has been the biggest villain in this Test match. It started on Day 1 and even completely washed out second day’s play. The situation was no better on Day 3 and Day 4. A draw is the only result possible in this one-off Test now.
