Heena Sidhu clinches Gold at Commonwealth Shooting Championships

Insight Bureau: Ace Indian shooter Heena Sidhu clinched gold medal in the women’s 10m Air Pistol event at the Commonwealth Shooting Championships, Brisbane in Australia on Tuesday.

She scored 240.8 in the final to beat Australian Elena Galiabovitch, who shot 238.2 to settle for silver.

Sidhu became the first Indian shooter to win a gold medal in an ISSF World Cup finals in 2013.
