Hockey India League: Dabang Mumbai beat Kalinga Lancers 5-2

Dabang Mumbai took a big step forward towards a semifinal berth in the Hockey India League 2017, as they thrashed Kalinga Lancers 5-2 at Bhubaneswar’s Kalinga Stadium tonight.

For Dabang Mumbai, Harmanpreet Singh, Florian Fuchs (2) and Gurjant Singh (2) scored the goals. Glenn Turner scored both goals for Kalinga Lancers.

Dabang Mumbai now leads the points table with 23 points from 7 games. Despite the loss, Kalinga Lancers remained on the second spot with 21 points from 7 games. Ranchi Rays are at third spot with 17 points from as many games.
