Hockey World Cup: Argentina beat New Zealand 3-0
ONI Bureau: Olympics gold medalist Argentina continued their dominating form in the Hockey World Cup 2018, as they blanked New Zealand 3-0 in a Pool A game tonight at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar. Earlier, they had beaten Spain 4-3.
Argentina maintained their dominance over New Zealand throughout the match. Agustin Mazzilli scored the first goal in the 23rd minute, while Lucas Vila scored the second goal in the 41st minute. Lucas Martinez scored the third and final goal in the 55th minute.
The Kiwis failed to score any goal although they tried hard. Lucas Vila was declared ‘Player of the Match’.
