India beat Bangladesh by 45 runs in Asia Cup T20

Team India started their Asia Cup T20 campaign in style, as they crushed hosts Bangladesh by 45 runs in the first match. Riding high on Rohit Sharma’s 83 and Hardik Pandya’s 31, India scored 166/6 in 20 overs. For Bangladesh, Al-Amin Hossain was the best bowler with 3/37 figure.

In reply, Bangladesh kept losing wickets at regular intervals and failed to improve the scoring rate. They finished at 121/7 in 20 overs and lost by 45 runs. Sabbir Rahman scored 44. Ashish Nehra took three wickets for 23 runs.
