India beat Pakistan to win Blind Cricket World Cup

ONI Bureau: India beat Pakistan in a thriller to retain the Blind Cricket World Cup played in Sharjah.

Pakistan had scored 307/8 in 50 overs. India achieved the target in the penultimate over of the match with just two wickets in hand. Sunil Ramesh scored a fine 93 to lead from the front. Skipper Ajay Tiwari too scored 62.

PM Modi tweeted immediately to congratulate the victorious Indian cricket team, saying they made the nation proud and inspired every Indian.

The Consulate General of India in Dubai will organize a felicitation program for the players and officials of Indian blind cricket team at 7 PM tomorrow in Consulate Auditorium.
