India lose Centurion Test, Series against South Africa

ONI Bureau: Yet again, Team India produced worst batting display away from home, as they lost the second Test match against South Africa in Centurion and lost the series 2-0 with one Test to go. The worst part is that they surrendered without a fight.

Chasing a victory target of 287, India kept losing wickets at regular intervals and bowled out for 151, losing the match by 135 runs. Rohit Sharma was the top scorer with 47, while Mohammed Shami made 28.

For South Africa, debutant Lungisani Ngidi took 6 wickets, while Kagiso Rabada took 3 wickets. India had lost the Cape Town Test too. Lungisani Ngidi was declared ‘Player of the Match’ in debut Test.
