India win Chennai Test, clinch Series against England 4-0

jadejaA clinical performance from the bowlers helped India bowl England out for 207 in the second innings on the final day and win the Chennai Test by an innings and 75 runs. India clinched the five-match series 4-0.

England started their second innings with 282 runs behind. The openers batted well and added 103 runs for the first wicket. Cook (49) and Jennings (54) departed in quick succession. Moeen Ali tried hard with his 44, but it was not enough. Ravindra Jadeja played the havoc, as he bagged seven wickets.

Karun Nair was declared ‘Man of the Match’, while Virat Kohli bagged the ‘Man of the Series’ award.
