Jitu Rai, Prakash Nanjappa fail to qualify for 50m Pistol Final

Indian shooter Jitu Rai failed to qualify for the final round of the men’s 50m pistol event in the qualification round, after finishing a disappointing 12th in the qualifying round at the Olympic Shooting Centre in Rio. He scored a total of 554.

On the other hand, Jitu Rai’s compatriot Prakash Nanjappa too disappointed with a 25th place finish in qualifying. His total score was 547 from the available 600 points.
