Mother’s Public School, Bhubaneswar champions in Basketball Tournament

Bhubaneswar, Nov 6: CBSE, Cluster 2 meet for Basketball was organized by MGM Higher Secondary School, Bokaro, Jharkhand. The students of Mother’s Public School emerged the champions after defeating St. Xavier’s High School , Hazaribagh by 44-40 points.

Earlier, students of Mother’s Public School defeated A.R.S Public School by 44-11 and qualified for the quarter-finals. In the quarter-finals the team defeated the champions of 2014-15, J.V.M Ranchi by 41-29 points and in the semi finals, the team from Mother’s Public School defeated the local favourites Chinmaya Vidyalaya by 46-28 points.

Anurag Panda of Mother’s Public School was declared the most valuable player of the tournament. The victorious team has made the school proud.
