Olympian Dutee Chand disassociates from her manager

Dutee Chand disassociates from her manager Tapi Mishra. A couple of days ago India’s fastest woman Dutee Chand made a Facebook post wanting to sell her BMW. The post said “It was my dream to ride a BMW which I fulfilled two years back by purchasing the luxury car for Rs 40 lakh after the State Government gave me Rs 3 crore for my achievements in Asian Games… I exhausted all my money. It is now difficult to get sponsors due to COVID-19 pandemic for my training for the Tokyo Olympics. I need money for my fitness expenses and training in Germany. But no sponsor is coming forward, which is why I decided to sell my luxury car”.

Soon after that, the media speculated the fact that the government hadn’t given her enough money for practice. Reacting to this, the Odisha government on Thursday declared that it had granted financial assistance of Rs 4.09 crore to Dutee Chand since 2015, a claim that the star sprinter fought back on the ground that it included Rs 3 crore prize money for winning Asian Games medals.

Dutee Tweeted:
“Declaration : On mutual agreement, I have disassociated myself with Mr. Tapi Mishra as my Manager. We have had a very strong work bond. Till I have a new manager, you can inbox me or mail me at – [email protected]
