Pujara, Pant give India complete control in Sydney Test

ONI Bureau: Middle order batsman Cheteshwar Pujara and Wicketkeeper Rishab Pant gave India a massive edge over Australia in the 4th and final Test in Sydney.

Pujara narrowly missed out on his 4th double hundred of the career, as he was out for 193. Rishab Pant scored his 2nd Test hundred and remained unbeaten on 159. Rishab became the first Indian Wicketkeeper to score a Test hundred in Australia.

India declared their first innings at 622/7. Hanuma Vihari scored 42, while Jadeja made 81. Earlier, Mayank Agarwal had scored 77. For Australia, Lyon took 4 wickets, while Hazlewood took 2 wickets. Australia finished at 24/0 at Stumps on Day 2.
