Rio Olympics 2016: India Men’s Hockey Team beat Argentina 2-1

India Men’s Hockey Team on Tuesday defeated Argentina 2-1 in the Hockey Group ‘B’ Rio 2016 Olympics contest.

The second win in the pool stage has virtually qualified India for the Quarterfinals after 36 years as they rose to the second position with six points.

This is India’s 1st win over Argentina since 2009. And, this is their second win at Rio.

India haven’t able to enter the knockout round in Olympics since 1980 Moscow Games, where they won the gold medal.
