Indian Women Archery trio Deepika Kumari, Bombayla Devi and Laxmirani Majhi on Sunday failed to deliver in quarterfinal at Rio Olympics 2016. They lost 4-5 to Russia and crashed out of the game.
The Indian Archery team lost the opening set but fought well and bounced back before the two teams level-pegged to force the tie-breaker.
In the shoot-off, the Russian women showed better nerves as the Indian trio lost the plot to lose it 23-25.
Earlier, India beat Colombia 5-3 in the pre-quarterfinal to face off against 2012 Games semifinalists Russia.
