Rohit, Rayudu hit Hundreds; India decimate West Indies in 4th ODI

ONI Bureau:  Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu scored maginficent hundreds, as India thrashed the West Indies by 224 runs to take an unassailable 2-1 lead in the five-match series with one match to go.

Earlier, India posted a mammoth total of 377/5 in 50 overs. Rohit Sharma hit his 21st ODI hundred and scored 162 off 137 balls with 20 boundaries and 4 sixes. It was his 7th 150+ score in ODI cricket – a record itself. Rayudu scored his 3rd ODI hundred. He made 100 off 81 balls with 8 boundaries and 4 sixes. Shikhar Dhawan scored 38. For the West Indies, Kemar Roach took two wickets.

Chasing a victory target of 378, West Indies kept losing wickets at regular intervals and bowled out for 153 in 36.2 overs. Jason Holder scored 54. For India, K Khaleel Ahmed and Kuldeep Yadav took 3 wickets each. Rohit Sharma was declared ‘Player of the Match’.
