India’s ace Tennis player Sania Mirza got a major boost ahead of the U.S. Open 2016, as she won the Connecticut Open with Monica Niculescu of Romania. Earlier, Sania had won the Cincinnati Masters last week with Barbora Strycova of Czech Republic.
Sania and Monica defeated Kateryna Bondarenko of Ukraine and Chuang Chia-Jung of Taiwan in the final 7-5, 6-4. The match lasted for one hour and 30 minutes.
The last time Sania and Niculescu partnered up was way back in 2010. Sania has confirmed that she would partner with Barbora Strycova at the U.S. Open.
