Sultan Azlan Shah Cup Hockey: Australia thrash India 5-1

India-HockeyIndia started its Sultan Azlan Shah Cup Hockey campaign on a shaky note, as they just managed to win over a young, inexperienced yet spirited Japanese team yesterday. However, they got a 5-1 thrashing from Australia today.

Kenji scored the lone goal for Japan. Harmanpreet Singh and Sardar Singh scored for India.

In today’s match against Australia, Blake Govers, Dave Whetton, Edward Ockenden, Jamie Dwyer and Ghodes scored the goals for Australia, while Rupinder scored the lone goal for India.
