Syed Mushtaq Ali T20: Hyderabad beat Odisha by 5 Wickets

After scoring a five-wicket win over Punjab yesterday, Odisha lost to Hyderabad in a thriller in Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Super League tournament. Odisha, which topped the East Zone with 3 wins and a loss, finished the Super League stage at 8 points. They are now placed on the second spot after Rajasthan. Odisha won against Mumbai and Punjab, while lost to Rajasthan and Hyderabad.

In yesterday’s match, Punjab had scored 143/5 in 20 overs. Jaskaranveer (32), M Vohra (34) and H Chawla (37*) were the top scorers. Seshadeep Patra took three wickets for Odisha. Odisha reached 144/5 in 18.1 overs and won the match by 5 wickets. Anurag Sarangi (45), Abhilash Mallick (41), Biplab Samantray (22*) and Suryakant Pradhan (22*) were the top scorers. Shubek Gill took two wickets.

Hyderabad beat Odisha by 5 wickets in a thriller today. The match was stretched till the last over and the winner was decided only after the last ball was bowled. Odisha bowled out for 153 in 19.1 overs. Anurag Sarangi (22), Abhilash Mallick (23), Biplab Samantray (33) were the top scorers. Ravi Kiran and GH Vihari took three wickets each, while Cv Milind took two wickets.

Hyderabad clinched the victory off the last ball, as they made 154/5 in 20 overs. Prince (31), TD Agarwal (49) and Bhandari (37*) were the top scorers.
