World No. 1 batsman in T20I, Virat Kohli, who played a key role in India’s 3-0 victory over Australia in the recently-concluded T20 series, has been rested for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka so that he can start afresh in the World Cup.
Manish Pandey, who scored a magnificent hundred in the 5th ODI to guide India to a remarkable victory, has been included in the team. All-rounder Pawan Negi too found a place in the team.
India and Sri Lanka will play three T20Is.
