World Cup: AB de Villiers hits Fastest 150 in ODI History

AB-de-VilliersAB de Villiers scored the fastest 150 in ODI history to power South Africa to 408/5 in 50 overs against the West Indies in ICC World Cup match at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG). Jason Holder conceded 64 runs in his last two overs (34 in 48th and 30 in 50th).

South Africa posted 408/5. AB de Villiers scored 162* off 66 balls with 17 boundaries and 8 sixes. Hashim Amla (65), Faf du Plessis (62) and Rilee Rossouw (61) were the other contributors. Andre Russell and Chris Gayle took two wickets each.

It would be interesting to see whether Chris Gayle will lead the West Indies from the front to achieve an incredible victory or they would slump to a massive defeat. Gayle had hit a double hundred in the last match against Zimbabwe.
