Constable Suspended For Misbehaving With A Girl

A constable belonging to the Special Security Battalion (SSB) is detained by the police on allegations of misbehaving with a girl.

The constable is identified as Pramod Behera and the identity of the girl is not revealed.

As per reports, on Sunday afternoon while the girl along with two of her friends was on her way to Kalpana Square from Rajmahal, the accused manhandled her and touched her inappropriately. The girl raised an alert and locals rushed to catch hold of the constable only to find him highly under the influence of alcohol.

The incident was perhaps recorded by one of the locals in which the girl is seen thrashing the constable with her slippers. Police rushed to the spot on being informed and took the constable in custody.
