Odisha Expected To Receive Heavy Rainfall From October 23

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has released alert for several parts of Odisha from October 23 to October 25.

According to IMD, a cyclonic circulation has formed over southwest Bay of Bengal. The met has alerted for the districts of Gajapati, Ganjam, Rayagada, Puri, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Nuapada, Bolangir, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Angul, Keonjhar, Khurda, Nabarangpur and Cuttack.

Taking into account the possibility of damage, the state relief commissioner has directed all district collectors to take necessary measures according to the situation.
