India, Pakistan should avoid Conspiracies against Each Other, says Nawaz Sharif

NawazSharifIndia and Pakistan should have good friendly relations and avoid involving in any conspiracies against each other, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said during his recent visit to Turkey.

Sharif also extended his gratitude to Turkey for its support on the Kashmir issue and also for its stance on Pakistan’s inclusion in the Nuclear Suppliers Group.

Talking about recent incidents of terrorist attack in Pakistan, Sharif said some elements who were upset with the progress of his country were behind the terror incidents. He also expressed the government’s resolve to eliminate terrorism at any costs.

India and Pakistan relations have been strained for the past over an year. The bilateral ties nosedived particularly after an attack on Indian Army base in Uri on September 18 last year by terrorists from across the border. Nineteen Indian soldiers were killed in the attack.

After 10 days of Uri attack, India conducted surgical strikes on terrorist base in Pakistan –occupied- Kashmir (PoK).
