At least 13 militants were killed on Monday in a raid by security forces in Pakistan’s Balochistan province. Frontier Corps personnel and intelligence agencies forces carried out the raid against militants near Turbat area in Kech district, Dawn online reported.
According to sources, the victims include the perpetrators of Saturday’s massacre in which 20 construction workers were killed when gunmen opened fire on them in a pre-dawn attack on a labourers’ camp near Turbat.
The workers belonged to Sindh and Punjab. They were working for a private construction company and building a bridge. The attack also saw security forces launching a massive operation in Turbat. (IANS)
