Nobody will be spared in Corporate espionage: Minister

 The Narendra Modi Government on Monday asserted that nobody will be spared in the corporate espionage case in which secret documents were stolen from the petroleum ministry.

Replying to questions in the Lok Sabha, Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said nobody will be allowed to breach the official system and all those responsible will be brought to book.

Mr Pradhan said crime branch of Delhi police is investigating the case. The Minister also informed the House that his ministry has taken a number of steps for ensuring safety of official documents.

Mr Pradhan said CCTVs were installed in sensitive locations and recommendations for issuance of MHA passes were also restricted. The minister also declined that there is any proposal to set up a Joint Parliamentary committee to probe the issue.
