ICAI Bhubaneswar holds Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), which was nominated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on December 25, 2014, has organised a cleanliness drive in Bhubaneswar at the ICAI Bhawan in Nayapalli.

The Bhubaneswar branch of ICAI held the campaign starting from its office to adjacent road starting from OERC office building. The drive included fixation of waste bins in and around their branch. The cleanliness drive conducted under the leadership of CA Partha Sarathi Mishra, Chairman, Bhubaneswar Branch in the presence of CA. Amit Kumar Agarwalla, Secretary, Bhubaneswar Branch, CA Ramesh Chandra Pradhan, CA. Raja Narayan Tripathy, CA. Sanjay Kumar Agrawalla and Past Chairpersons of Bhubaneswar Branch and Members and students of Bhubaneswar Branch.

The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was held in the presence of the representative of Mrs. Prativa Samantaray, the Corporator of ward no 39 of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC). The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was attended by over 60 members and Students.

The Branch will conduct cleanliness drive at public places such as Railway station, Hospitals, Park, Bus stand etc in the city of Bhubaneswar and instal waste bins at important junctions across the city in coming months.
